The person who wrote it is the person offered the post

A second after your customer presses Send, the thank-you screen offers them their own sentence back — ready to post on X or LinkedIn, to send on WhatsApp, or to copy for anywhere else. It opens their account with their words in it. Nothing is posted for them, and they can change every word first.

PlanEvery plan.

How it works

Shared by the writer, step by step

  1. It is offered to the writer, never to you

This lives on the thank-you screen your customer sees, not in your dashboard. The only person it ever hands a post to is the person whose sentence it is. What you post yourself is a testimonial image, which is a different thing with a different rule.

  2. Their sentence, and your name after it

The post is what they just wrote, followed by "my experience with" and your business's name, and your web address where you have given one. Past 180 characters it is cut short with an ellipsis, so it fits a post. Nothing else is added: no hashtag, no rating, no sentence composed in their voice.

  3. Three places and the clipboard

X, LinkedIn and WhatsApp open with the text already in the box, in whichever account that person is signed into. Copy hands them the same words for anywhere else.

  4. Only where there is something to post

The offer appears only when what they wrote runs past twenty characters. A two-word answer is not turned into a post, and a testimonial left as a recording with no words is not either.

What it will not do

Every capability page ends with this list. It is the part that says what you are actually buying.

  • It will not post anything on anybody's behalf, and it asks for no social account — theirs or yours.
  • It is not a way for you to post your customer's testimonial. That is the testimonial image, and it asks the social permission first.
  • It carries no image and no link to the testimonial: at that moment nothing has been approved, so there is nothing published to point at.

Questions

Asked about this

From Help, where every answer is written from the product as it runs.

How much code is it?

Two lines: a script tag and a div. The layout is a query string on the script tag, or a data attribute on the div — both of which live in your page, so turning a wall into a marquee later means editing those two lines where you pasted them. There is nothing to rebuild at this end.

It shows nothing on my page.

Three usual causes, in order of likelihood: nothing is published yet (Pending is not published); the builder you are using strips script tags from block content, in which case the tag goes in the theme footer; or you are looking at the editor preview rather than the live page, which is normal on Webflow, Framer, Elementor and Squarespace.

Can I embed it in Notion or a newsletter?

No, and not because of us: neither runs a third-party script. Link the hosted wall in Notion, and use a testimonial image in the newsletter. Email has not run JavaScript for twenty years.

Does the widget slow my page down?

It is one small script with no framework behind it and no font to fetch. It draws after your page has drawn.
