How
Ask the person, in writing
The message itself. A screenshot with the name visible, or the words typed in with the name beside them. It came to you, not to the world, so the request comes first — one line is enough, and the answer is almost always yes.
Add it with the source set to "WhatsApp"
The words as they were written, the person's name, and a screenshot if you have one. The source is shown beside it on every page it appears on afterward.
Record what they said back
Their reply is the permission. Keep it — the consent field travels with the testimonial and comes out in your export.
Publish it wherever it belongs
In a widget, on a wall, as an image for a post. Where they allowed it, and nowhere else.
Some of the best testimonials any business has are here, and every one of them is a private message. Ask first, in writing, and keep the reply.
What will not happen to it
The same list is on every page of this site.
- The words will not be edited. Not tidied, not shortened, not improved — by you, by us, or by a model.
- The source will not be dropped: every published copy says it came from WhatsApp.
- It will not be shown anywhere its permission does not cover.
- It will not be fetched for you automatically — you are the one who decides it may be republished.
Then put it on your page
One script tag, wherever your site is built.
Other private sources
Bring that WhatsApp message across
With the source attached, read for risk, and published only where their permission reaches.
