Your YouTube comments, on your own site

A comment on YouTube works for you on YouTube. On your own page, next to your prices, it works for you where the decision is actually made.

How

  1. Find the comment

A comment under your video, or somebody's own video about you — paste the comment, or link the video.

  2. Paste it, with the link

Set the source to "YouTube" and paste the address of the original. That link is shown to your readers, so anybody can go and check the comment where it was written.

  3. It is read like any other

It goes through the same reading as a testimonial written to you: a promised result, a figure, somebody's private detail — all flagged with the reason before you publish.

  4. Or bring a spreadsheet of them

Export what you have and upload the file. Columns are read by their names, and you see which was read as what before anything is saved.

A video that lives on YouTube stays on YouTube: Hazelsong links it rather than taking the footage off their player.

What will not happen to it

The same list is on every page of this site.

  • The words will not be edited. Not tidied, not shortened, not improved — by you, by us, or by a model.
  • The source will not be dropped: every published copy says it came from YouTube.
  • It will not be shown anywhere its permission does not cover.
  • It will not be fetched for you automatically — you are the one who decides it may be republished.

Bring your YouTube comments across

With the source attached, read for risk, and published only where their permission reaches.
