Whether it is open
It is not open right now, because new Hazelsong subscriptions are paused. Nothing on this page is a promise that it will open, or when.
The reward
The reward is earned on the referred business's first payment for a plan, and is split equally: half is credit on your bill, half is credit on theirs. It is never more than the amount below for that payment.
- Starter monthly: up to $0.03 on each list-price payment (0.10% of it before sales tax).
- Starter yearly: up to $5.52 on each list-price payment (1.90% of it before sales tax).
- Pro monthly: no reward at present.
- Pro yearly: up to $6.82 on each list-price payment (1.15% of it before sales tax).
Credit is not cash. It cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged, and it is applied to future Hazelsong plan charges on the account it was given to. Credit on an account whose subscription has ended is not paid out.
Each plan charge takes only as much credit as leaves that charge inside the margin every Hazelsong plan is held to, worked out for that plan at its full use. What one charge cannot take is carried to the following charges, for 12 months after the credit stops being held; credit not applied by then expires. Today, one charge can take:
- Starter monthly: up to $0.25 of credit per charge.
- Starter yearly: up to $125.05 of credit per charge.
- Pro monthly: up to $0.00 of credit per charge.
- Pro yearly: up to $154.43 of credit per charge.
How a referral is counted
Share your link. When somebody follows it, the page they land on asks whether they allow one cookie naming that click for up to 60 days; if they allow it and sign up or subscribe in that time, the account is counted as referred by you. If they do not, nothing is stored in their browser and the account counts only when they sign up from the page the link opened. The first link a browser allowed is the one that counts, and an account is counted once, ever. An account that was already paying is not counted, and neither is your own: the same email address or the same billing customer on both sides is refused automatically.
Credit waits 60 days after the referred business's first payment, so that a refund or a card dispute is settled first. If that payment is refunded or disputed, credit not yet applied is canceled for both of you.
What you must disclose
Credit for a referral is a material connection under the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), so everyone who reads your recommendation has to be told about it. Use this sentence:
I get Hazelsong service credit if you subscribe through my link, and so do you.
- Put it next to the link or the recommendation, in the same post, email, video or page, before the reader clicks.
- In a video, say it out loud and show it on screen. Use the sentence, not an abbreviation readers may not understand, such as “#sp”, “#aff” or “#collab”.
- Say it every time you recommend Hazelsong with your link, not once on a profile page or behind a “more” button.
- Never present yourself as an ordinary customer with no connection, and never post a review or testimonial of Hazelsong without the same disclosure.
This is the same rule Hazelsong holds your own customers' words to: an incentive is disclosed wherever the words appear. Do not post a review of Hazelsong on a review site in exchange for credit; many review sites forbid it, and nothing here asks for one.
Changes and ending
We can close a referral link used for spam or self-referral, and credit earned that way is not given. We may change these terms; a change applies to referrals whose first payment is made after it is published here. Questions go to support@hazelsong.com. These terms are dated October 17, 2026. Creators and agencies who are not customers can join the affiliate program instead.
