Hazelsong and Vocal Video, side by side

Both collect video testimonials. What differs is how you pay, how long a recording can run, how many people can work on it, and what comes back to you.

Every figure about Vocal Video was read off its own pricing page on October 17, 2026. Where its page says nothing, this page says nothing either.

Working with Hazelsong

  1. Monthly or yearly, as you choose

Starter is $29 a month, or $290 a year. Vocal Video's pricing page shows its paid plans billed yearly, from $1,188.

  2. Your videos come back whole, on the free plan

Hazelsong stores one copy of a video — the original — and hands it back at that quality to anyone who can open the project. There is no lower-quality copy to sell you out of.

  3. Clips and reels in your browser

Cut a testimonial into a clip, or join several people into one reel, on every plan, with no credits and no watermark — their footage, their voices, their names.

  4. Text and video, counted together

A typed testimonial and a recorded one are both testimonials: the free plan holds 15 of either and Starter 5,000.

  5. Read for risk, transcribed and translated

Typed testimonials are read for risk on arrival on Starter and Pro, within the month's readings, and a recording is never read by AI; on Pro a recording is transcribed so it can be searched and read, and a testimonial can be translated into 25 languages with the original kept.

Trade-offs to consider

Consider these limits alongside the prices and features above.

  • Hazelsong is new and has no public record of customers yet.
  • A recording here runs up to 2 minutes on every plan. Vocal Video's page lists published videos of up to 20 minutes on its paid plans.
  • Vocal Video's free plan lists up to 5 editors. Hazelsong's free plan has 1 seat.
  • Vocal Video lists integrations with 6,000+ apps. Hazelsong's Zapier app is not yet listed in Zapier's public directory. It works today on Starter and Pro by invitation — a link on the dashboard's API page adds it to your own Zapier.
  • Hazelsong does not take in video files from another tool: a video already recorded elsewhere comes in by its YouTube, Vimeo or Loom link, one at a time.

Moving from Vocal Video

Bring a supported file, review the preview, and check your permission to republish. Approval and public-page settings are separate.

  1. Bring the videos you already have by their link

A video that is already on YouTube, Vimeo or Loom comes into Hazelsong by its link, one at a time, with the writer's name and words beside it. Vocal Video's pricing page lists downloads on its paid plans, not on Free.

  2. Ask for the next ones here

Send your Hazelsong collection link to the customers you want on video next. Each recording arrives as the original file, on every plan.

  3. Review permission and choose where to publish

They arrive in Pending with their source and original date. Approve only material you have permission to republish. Website permission and the project’s publication settings also apply; approving a testimonial does not publish a private project.
